April 10 to 15

Well life was pretty mellow this week. I was sick most of the week and Soccer was snowed out on Saturday. Saturday night though we all attended Peyton Nichole's prom day view. She was beautiful as expected and excited as could be. Mikayden was happy to take a pic with her. However, little Mikyle was intimidated by her big dress. So only the big boys got their picture taken with the cinderella of the eve.

Sunday we hit the road to rapid again. Had to run some errands to the farm store, only to get suckered in by two little kids desperately pleading to give the last bunny in the cage a new home. Of course Mommy caved this time and we have one more critter at the Weston farm. The name of the bunny became the debate on the way home with Mikyle wanting Brownie, Mikayden wanting Fluffy. To Mikyle wanting Starlight, To Mikayden wanting Frostie. For it all to come down to. THEY CALL ME THUMPER!!!! Off of Bambi. I heard that phrase chanted for the last half of the drive home. But they both agree on Thumper and everyone seems happy as can be. In the morning he will make an apperance to the first grade class then hopefully settle back with a carrot for the day.

Here are a couple of pic's of Mikayden's room. It is lime green half way around then hot pink the other half of the room. She has a purple bed set to top off all the brightness. I painted the bratz on her wall. We still need to get a couple more on. But for now here she is. She dressed up a toy puppy to accent her diva room. LOL.

Cheer, basketball, and xmas frame.

Mikayden and Mikyle doing a little bit
of Redneck sledding.

Mikayden and Mikyle in their xmas shirts of my little brother is the naughty one. And Dear Santa I was framed. These were some pics we took just fooling around. But they took it quite to heart.

Since being here Mikayden has participated in quite a few things. She played basketball and then a few weeks later she did a cheer camp. We will be starting soccer this week. Mikayden starts tomorrow and Mikyle starts on Saturday. I will be taking my camera and hopefully be posting you some great pics.

April 5th excitement

Well today has definitely been one of those days. We headed to rapid for ice skating this morning at 6:30 am. Made it there managed to buy all our dog food, cat food, few neccessities and a horse tire swing for the kids to play on. Only to get 49 miles from home and blow the back tire on the car passing a semi. Took longer to unload all the great buys of the day than it did for me to change the tire. God love my Daddy he sure had his faults but I am ever so glad he taught me the things he did about cars. As I have probably changed more tires on my vehicles over the years than Mr. Goodyear himself. LOL!! Could have saved some serious money on that tire horse swing had I known we were to soon have a tire we could have made one ourselves with. LOL.

However kids seem to love him. So like all the other things guess we will keep him.

Mikayden tried out for a part in the Missoula childrens theatre play the Pied Piper. She came home as proud as could be she got the part of a RAT in the play. They performed the first part of March. She made an adorable little rat. But behind the scenes or more so in the seats was my little man Cory Mikyle. He was very proud of his sister and really enjoyed seeing the play. However, he had insisted on presenting Mikayden her flowers afterward and I love the pics of my young man waiting on a woman. So here are a few of that day. They made me chuckle as he reminds me so much of his Daddy somedays.

Well I think I am done for the evening. Hope everyone enjoys getting to see the kids in some of their day to day dealings. I hope to slow down enough to get some pics of the house and land and some of the surroundings so everyone can kinda see where we are. But, for now what is at my fingertips is what everyone gets to see.

Today while I was fencing I found this little creature. Mikayden absolutely loved him. Mikyle was a little more stand-offish at first but by the time we were ready to set him free, he had on a pair of gloves and was fighting over who was gonna let him go. Where is my camera when I really need it?

We had a snow day on Monday. With no school we all thought it would be fun to frolic in the snow. Started with playing and pictures on the hay bales. Moved to sledding down hill. Which Mikyle and I soon discovered there was not enough snow to cover the rocks. My knee and his bum have marks to prove it. The kids really loved hangin with cousin Peyton.

Mikyle helping paint his room. He thought it should all be done before he went to sleep.

Hey All.

Well we aren't so update to all this tech stuff, however we are gonna give it a shot as I am lousy at getting to the post office to mail pics anymore. Hoping we can do a little better with this.

As some of you know and some of you don't, we made a BIG decision and left the state of Utah for the state of South Dakota. Left some great friends, lots of security, and Cory's family to follow some new and old dreams and to strike out on some new beginnings. We have been here now for going on 5 months. Things are still hectic as we are still painting the house our colors and adjusting to new schedules. But we now live in the country on 43 acres in a cute little older home. We are 6 miles from town and drive it often. LOL.

Mikayden is loving school here and adjusting quite well. Cory Mikyle has only become more of a cowboy now he has the ground to roam and more critters to chase. They love waking up to find deer in the yard, the hawk that lives in the trees here, and the wild turkeys that live down the road. I love the room they have to play and that we have to ride horses. Both Mikayde and Mikyle love the horses and are becoming great little riders.

Our one down fall to moving was that my little girl has become a very talented ice skater and appears to really love it. So we left our rink of 20 mins from home for one that is now 2 hrs and 45 mins away. We make this drive every weekend so she can continue to follow some of her dreams. She will be attending the ISI Worlds in July at Denver, Co. She is quite excited about this. She won several medals last year. One really big one was a complete surprise. The Sun Valley Idaho competition she not only won 1st for her age group performance but the overall award. So with a little luck we are hopin the gas prices start to fall. But aren't countin on it. LOL.

Mikyle is little boy through and through. He ropes anything that moves or doesn't. Rides anything that he should and shouldn't, and runs on the energy of the energizer bunny. He loves coming to work with Mommy and driving the tractor. Lately he has been helping me fence. He is the "measuring guy" and "plier guy". Which mostly means for mommy. "Lots of patience Gal". After every post u measure the tape measure MUST HOOK BACK ON THE PANTS. Does not matter you are only walking 8 paces before you need it again. But he is sooooo cute when he's doing it sooo. Deep breath and 4 more hours of fencing. HAHA.

As for me. Ahhh busy. I am loving fencing and riding horses and soon to be checking cattle for a paycheck. Getting kids to soccer, ice skating, and plays. Painting the house. Decorating it western except god love my diva her room is BRIGHT Pink and LIME Green. With Bratz cheerleaders I have painted on the wall. Soon to add a couple of ice skating bratz. Mikyle's room is half painted. Blue is on the wall. Still need to get the brown. He wants bulls painted on his wall. With weather warming I am chompin at the bit to do some flower gardens and landscaping. All in all its coming along.
